Has anyone ever had to repair a Magnaplanar?

I bought mine about 15 years ago and I didn't know the glue they use is sensitive to UV light. To cut the story short, they rattle because the filament has detached from the frame. There must be a way of reattaching it with a better glue?

I think a light sensitive glue is a silly idea, that ranks with the British military life jackets that absorb water.

I had the same RATTLING PROBLEM and i sent them back to Magnaplanar and waited a long time to get them back and PAID for it with more Rattling, so they was off to GOODWILL after paying $600.00 of my hard earned money with two kids to feed. i will never purchase another pair.
You can probably sell the kids, for enough to cover a new pair of Maggies.               They're much cheaper to feed!
I sent mine back to factory for repair once. Worked out fine.  That was a long time ago though.....~ 1992.
