I went ahead and did the upgrade to the full version, but it was only a minor improvement. It’s really the low frequencies that have the most room for improvement in a room correction system and the basic version does that.
NAD M10 Streaming Amplifier
I have decided to downsize my home office system to lower the box count and sell equipment that is overkill for my small office space. (11’x11’). My home office system consisted of an Esoteric I-03 Integrated, Sony HAP-Z1, and a Bryston BDP-1. All three of these devices were replaced with the NAD M10.
I now work from home full time and my listening is limited to mainly background music so my equipment requirements are modest.
The NAD M10 is a Class D amplifier and around 100W per channel.
Some features include:
Plays music from network shares on the following desktop operating systems: Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, Vista, 7, 8 to current Windows Operating Systems and Mac OS X versions. (I have a Synology NAS with minimum server)
Bottom line for me it is a great system for my needs and it sounds great playing into my KEF LS50s. Streaming from the NAS or Tidal works great and again it sounds very good. This is my first experience with the BluOS and it works perfectly running on my iMac, iPad, or iPhone. Plenty of power, great OS, high quality sound for the price and lots of cool features (Bass/Treble, TuneIn Radio, WiFi connectivity, DSD Playback, etc.).
Purchased from a seller on Audiogon for a great price. Highly recommended!
