Having a great system is the best of the best.
In my head I guess there is good music and bad music in every genre. My brain does not editorialized on the type of instrument. Yesterday I listened to John Renbourn's The Hobit then turned around and finished on Depeche Mode's Violator. I have no idea why. Just what I felt like at the time. I am just as loud or quiet as I have always been, probably more loud than quiet. You have to ask my wife on that one. I do know when I have made a significant improvement in the system. She complains less.
There is plenty of bad music out there most of it being in the popular domain and mostly computer music by talent less people. In the old days you had to be good to get a recording contract.
I think it is raw talent that blows me away most. Check out Jacob Collier's Tiny Desk concerts on NPR. You can YouTube them. Totally amazing. Every neuron in this kid's brain plays music.
