Tidal vs ATC

@gosta Nice. Guessing the ATC is the better speaker over those but of course would love to do a shootout. The 9H is pretty solid for the money and with the room measurement feature and active bass drivers its low end is very nice.
Have you considered Tidal?

i don’t know tidal speakers

but have lived with (and still keep) atc active scm 10’s and 20’s

they are wonderful, incredibly well engineered speakers... alot of what has been said is true - they are very neutral fast and revealing, no helpful colorations so bad recordings sound bad... i paired with a top balanced tube linestage and source to add warmth and it made them much more enjoyable - they also imaged better with tubes

they can play very loud but also sound good playing soft

their inherent personalities are a bit cool, i listen to alot of british monitor speakers and many of them, esp. bbc lineage ones, have lossy cabinets that provide some body and resonance to the music, which often makes acoustic instruments and voice sound more natural - atc does not have this

The vimberg is the sister company and a reviewer said its 90 percent of the tidal at m7ch less $$
