these Klipsch would be too wide for 2 channel music, poor imaging of all instrument locations, keep in mind, center, or any instrument near center is a phantom image created by specific balance/imbalance of directional left and right. The outside drivers will be filling the room with side reflections, and if too close to a side wall, the outside bass will be boosted.
but, combined with a separate center speaker might do ok for small home theater, giving you a wider than most sound stage i.e. 3 people wide on sofa viewing movie/music concert ...
one idea is to try them, and if not satisfied, keep them and use them for surround as designed.
If they are the mains, for more bass, consider how you would use a sub or pair of subs now or in the future.
for home theater, a single sub.
with more directional mains, for 2 channel music, I prefer a stereo pair of directional subs next to the mains for more bass, but in your ’wide’ setup, ...?
