What speakers have best bass for hip hop, and rock

I have revel studios and krell kav2250's bi amp, and I'm not that happy with the bass or soundstage. I recently heard a B&W 801N, liked it, and want to audition the new 802D. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I really don't know what else is out there that would be good. As you see, I am mostly into "popular" music. Thanks.

If you want good clean articulate bass try also big ATC's, PMC's, Westlake or large Tannoys. There is nothing quite like a good 15 inch woofer. Butt ugly but can also kick butt (rather than wimpy 8" woofers tuned to get the most out of them and inevitably having a big bass hump)

I have some crunk or rap that images wonderfully. Some has bass equal to pipe organs lower range. Sure like most music there's allot of bad stuff out but some is very good if you have a open mind and hungry ear. I would also agree with Shadornes post on this.

Try some Klipschhorns. Those are guaranteed to rock u out and they dont need much power to play really loud and clean and they are cheaper on the used market than the inefficient B and W s .
