This will be like you-know-what-ing into the wind, or up a rope, pick your metaphor, but the idea of things like power cords being dependent on being used with particular components is just plain bollocks. I have changed power cords on amps, pre-amps, phono stages, CD players, power conditioners, turntable motors, and more that I have probably forgotten in my nearly 30 years of doing this. (Yes, I learned about wire way back in the very early 90’s.)
