So sorry to hear of his death. He was a mainstay at the Houston Rodeo for many years and saw him there more than a few times, usually on closing nite. He had a golden voice and he could have sang any johndra he chose but decided on country for the most part, I guess you could say he was the Jackie Robinson of his time and field and I for one, am glad for it.
