Missed Connections

I am using a Parasound Hint 6 integrated to drive my B&W 606 S2's. It's rated at 160 wpc. Also in my system is a Carver Sunfire Cimema with 5channels driven 200wpc. Currently the Sunfire is only being used to drive center and surrounds leaving 2 channels free. Those channels have no source input. Is there any reason I can't use them to bi-amp the B&W's effectively giving them 360wpc? My interest lie in having the power to listen at lower volumes with clarity.

More clarity at lower volume? Get a pair of Quad 57’s and a Bedini 25/25. That’s what I had in use for 19 years!

@kr4  you will need some way to make sure that the gain of the two amps is identical

Is there any means of doing that?
Does the Carver have a volume or a gain control?  Otherwise, you will have to add a gadget.

Overall, this is not worth the bother, imho.

The problem is the gain of Parasound Hint 6 integrated power amp section is 28dB and the gain of Sunfire Cinema Grand is 26dB, you need to insert an attenuator in front of Hint 6 power amp section to level match with the Sunfire.
