- I have a spare Gate that I am not using at the moment. I found one to be sufficient on the main panel along with the Omega emats. If anyone is interested, please PM me.

Thanks for the input Ozzy. It mirrors my experience with Bybee stuff, you have to be very careful where you use them. They seem ok on the consumer unit. I was thinking of importing and selling the PPT stuff in the U.K. at one point but hesitated because of my experience with Bybee. The Bakoon/Cube combo that I demo is very revealing and doesn’t seem to benefit from these devices in close proximity, like you say. Mahgister thanks for you recommendations and suggestions. Since it’s so reasonable it would be good to try. So again you confirm that this sort of device is best used only on the mains. |

But to begin with try the power conditioner....Or the main electrical box in the room or house or the computer main router.... I have many PPT mats in use in my system. They are their best and most active and effective when they are first placed on a large magnet or a dead large speaker. Not sure why this is the case..you can also " precharge " on a electrical panel. I have never encountered a negative reaction with the mats on equipment..except maybe on a cd player and only when I stacked 2 or more mats. I firmly believe the negative is derived from the added mass damping and not from the materials used in the construction of the mat. Fine line between no damping and to much before it harms dynamic structures. Tom |
