Digital upgrade help

Current system is Node2> Schiit GungnirMB> Luxman 507uxII > Klipsch Forte3 & dual REL T7i.

Overall i'm quite happy with how it sounds but after reading all the great reviews on the higher priced R2R dacs I can't help but feel I can squeeze a lot more out of this setup.  I'm looking to upgrade but don't really want to make baby steps but I can't go all-in on a high priced streamer and DAC right now.  I'm looking hard at the Denafrips Terminator for now and then maybe in a while upgrading the source to Lumin U1 mini or similar.  I also hear lots of conflicting thoughts on streamer quality yada yada yada.  I like the BluOS ecosystem and i've upgraded power cable and coax cables to get as much out of it as possible so i'd like to hear what it can do with a great DAC.  This will also help me when testing new streamers in the future.  95% Tidal with some local NAS storage.

Any experiences are welcome.  Especially from those with Luxman integrateds/terminators.

Thanks!

If you’re building for the future, then consider Terminator Plus as your foundation for awesome digital streaming setup. There isn’t a better value than Terminator Plus when it comes to R2R DAC’s.

Your rest of the system is on par for a SOTA digital source.
I went from node to mcintosh to lumin D2 to mytek to psaudio. The node, mcintosh, lumin and mytek were so close I didn’t notice a difference until I bought a used psaudio directstream with the network card for $3500 new I think it’s $7k. I would save your money and wait to jump up to the psaudio to hear a real difference.
