Single driver speakers. Are they worth considering ?

I don't mean electrostatic. How close to a full range speaker can you come with single driver ?

Lowther full range driver in a rear bass horn enclosure.  pure, simple, efficient.
Does a trumpet have a crossover?

I own Zu, Tannoy, and Fyne. I've owned a silly number of other conventional brands also. The minimalist approach sounds best to me. Actually: sounds most like real music.

Designers brag about 'how well the drivers integrate' but think about that closely; what they're actually saying.
@zufan  if you install driver inside trumpet ,it will be speaker not trumpet
I have some Nenuphar Mini's on order.  Charney is kinda local to me but honestly I don't care how good they sound. They look like they were made in a High School Wood Shop class. Your paying 10K+ for something that looks THAT amateurish?  If I owned them and had people come over my house I would throw a sheet over them so they couldnt see them. That guy needs to step up his game and team up with a cabinet maker/designer.
Hi riaa,
Looks aside, have you heard a Charney? If nothing else if would provide a nice context to compare with  the Nenuphar Mini. Congratulations on your purchase.
