Which player has all this????

I am trying to find a tubed player that can do SACD, has balanced outputs, upsampling, and a preamp with volume control. Budget new or used is around 3000.00, but can go higher. I am currently using Denon 3910 (no mods)through a Sunfire Theatre Grand II processor, Classe seven hundred monos, and B&W 800N. Current sound is a bit bright and grainy. I am trying to fix that. Does this CDP exist?

Might look at some modshops that maybe still work on the 3910 (maybe APL or Modwright) as I think they can handle your needs.

Change the 800N, they are the weak link and will always sound grainy with weak bass.

I think that the new Cary 306 can do all of that for you.

Make sure all your cables is real copper with good insulated shield with none silver in it. I do have almost the same set up, but I try to looking for the brighter sound and I change my cables, It does work. Good luck
