@keegiam

Been watching this forum for awhile and I'm curious. Why doesn't anyone post links to the music like we do on "Jazz for Aficionados"?

Probably because we are playing LP’s 😉 Well @tomic601 cheats every once in a while, but we put up with him 😁
@bkeske

I'm a vinyl head too, but for the purpose of further exploration and expansion of one's musical universe, it's tough to beat YouTube links.

@keegiam We post links, but it's usually to a site like Discogs in reference to a particular pressing. You can talk about records on the internet, but it's no place to listen to them.
keegiam,

I get it, which is why I provide the LP info on the albums I’m spinning. Easy to look up on Discogs, as example. More than once I’ve researched some of the music posted here (and believe me, there are some interesting and obscure musical choices posted here, which I like), and purchased some as well.
Melody Gardot - Currency of Man. I have someone coming to buy my JVC QL-Y66F DD tomorrow. Giving it a last hurrah (and having second thoughts).
