I love my Ref 3A de Capos 92db run them with 4 watt Decware amp plenty of sound not Ted Nugent loud but goodOK Single Cap + 92 db, = Not tradition/conventional speaker as in my reference,
No "crossover" but have "just a single capacitor used as a high pass filter for the tweeter"
Perhaps , in fact your Ref A3 is not the speakers i am attacking.
I am going after any/all speakers that have more than 1 cap and are not at least 91 db. You are at 92db which passes the sensitivity threshold of <<at least 92db>>>
= all FR are over 93db
Conventional/traditional <<Box design>>> are all under 91 db and have multiple xover components .
= Dinasaurs = Out dated = dysfunctional = High Distortion,,what we are all after is <<High Fidelity>> ( old Philips terminology)
FR = High Fidelity
xover/conventuiional box = Low Fidelity.
Here is the link to my 2nd DL FR, the above link did not load properly on YT
This is the link
'Cabinets took about 1 hour each x2 = 2 hours pair to build,,don't look nice, gaps all over, but they sound great, even fantastic. Bass has now kicked in.
These DL FR blow away the Seas double 6.5 + SEAS Millennium tweets.
Thats a $2500 upgraded speaker with Mundorf high priced caps, and brand new Millenniums.
The single DL blows away the Seas.
Blows away any conventional, including all/every B&W ever made.
