Connecting a streamer via an Ethernet cable

Is there a noticeable difference connecting a streamer directly to an External cable as opposed to WiFi? The reason I ask, is that doing so with my situation would require a fair amount of effort. But if it’s worth it, I’m willing to do it. Thanks.

Dump the WiFi and hardwire. I didn't lose a single packet in 2 years hard wired..

WiFi, and any ol sunspot will do. :-). It will just STOP and re buffer.

WiFi is flying around in YOUR house. My routers shut down from 2 - 6 in the morning. They only wake up if I or the wife use the net..

Yes I wear a tin foil hat.

I use BT sometimes.
All my streamers ethernet.... Major difference. BTW my buddy told me to use a good ethernet cable. Was a skeptic till I purchased transparent cable. I was surprised with the difference . Not a major investment.
I was wondering the same but read many times that WiFi sounds as good as Ethernet, provided your WiFi is strong enough a signal. Mine is. My Node 2i never blinks.
Yes.

A cable will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS be more reliable, faster and better.

Most of the time you may not notice the difference, but when there is air noise, wifi signals will be lost, corrupted and retransmitted MUCH more.
