Klipsch Cornwall IV

Hello all,

I'm interested in what people who have heard the speaker feel about it. I currently run spatial M3 turbos and have an all tube analog setup ( line magnetic, hagerman ) with an oppo 105 being the digital front end.

Previous speakers have been acoustic zen, reference 3A, Maggie 3.6, and triangles. I am more concerned with a huge immersive sound stage than I am with pinpoint imagery. I have a big room and have plenty of space between the back wall and my speakers if I need it.

Any thoughts?

@jjss49 I would love to try a pair of 0/96's or 93's; however, they rarely come up for sale on the used market for a price I can entertain.
ozzy i like that description of who may like cornwall 4 and who won't - generalization but still helpful.
@kren0006 Yes it is a generalization. I can appreciate what other designs do and enjoy listening to them. My buddy has a pair of Focal Kanta 2s that I like every time I hear them. But I wouldn't trade him even for my cornwalls, and I'm sure he feels the same way.

So...... It sounds like people are saying I should hear them before I buy them?

I understand you tastes. I have to say I can not recommend a speaker in the price range you are looking . You have the incredible 845 tube amp so make sure you don't miss the opportunity to bask in the glory of the midrange. You have a large room and i would advise against getting some horn speaker that might fill the space. Simply bring you listening sets close to your speakers and then close you eyes and enjoy.
