+1 jond. sounds like a complete jumbled mess to me.
Rush - The New Birth Control
I'm a Rush fan but hard to argue the logic here.

...and there was a band called 'Birth Control'.... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/DlMLggddmCO1cjlzx-4_2z8YvboXEZVfPCfpjIWHxrZcYabc53gie6IGqwDx... Live, album from 1974. https://youtu.be/zCRbnx8xO44 |
I would argue that Rush was really a prog band, although they did have a prog-ish phase. And yes, I am a fan. But the article is pretty funny. Seriously, there are prog bands (especially in the avant-prog subgenre), past and present, that make Rush sound like a Korean boy band. If Rush is birth control, then by comparison, The Thinking Plague might cause infertility. |
goofyfoot701 posts05-04-2021 9:34pmWhat's he heretical opposite of a Dead Head femme, a Rush femme.I've loved both for many years, though Rush takes precedence. I'm also one of the few people I know who love Phish as much as Rush - both with equal, tear-inducing emotion. |
