I forgot to say, I got some stuff, new to me:
1. Received the Nearly New Luxman Tube SQ-N150 Integrated for my Office. It’s terrific. I ass-umed it had pre-out/main in, but nope. Happily it drives my little true bookshelf Wharfedale Diamond 225’s with enough volume. My lowest powered amp ever 15 wpc, with my least efficient speakers ever 87.
2. I replaced a single 12" self powered sub in the office (my ancient Velodyne Servo 1200 died). Rockville, was $165. costs a bit more now

single, mono, facing sideways in front of the bookcases, just adds enough low end that nothing seems lacking, i.e. the office system doesn’t sound small.. Unaware unless you turn it off.
3. My Vintage Tandberg 2080 SS receiver died, so I bought a very low priced 2 channel receiver to play either or both pairs of speakers in my Garage/Shop system, with remote volume. Insignia Receiver NS-R2001 (Best Buy’s brand), playing all legacy stuff thru it: 8 track, dual cassette; compact programmable Technics SL-J33 TT; it’s tuner for my one FM Jazz station, and CD player. Sound quality just fine to play over saw/drill/sand/curse noises.
4. got my McIntosh mx110z Tube Tuner/Preamp back from Audio Classics. I sleep better knowing it has new gold plated RCA jacks throughout (the old ones corrode). They were a problem, inadvertently causing balance issues by themselves. Other repairs, lights are brighter, I suppose I can kid myself that I can hear the difference of the resistors they replaced because a few of the original ones were good but ’out of specs’. It sounded great, still sounds great!
New speaker cables at the same time, new L-Pads in the speakers, new interconnects with locking connectors, too many changes to pin-point, but definitely the best sound ever.
5. Oh yeah, added a power gizmo, Furman P-1800 PF R to the main system
6. I am using my friends NOS Goldring Eroica LX Cartridge in my TT’s rear arm (removable headshell). He found it in a drawer, a few years old, never used. It sounds very good. Just happens one of the 4 optional loads in my FRT-4 SUT is very well mated to it.
