MUSICAL FIDELITY A5 CD PLAYER PROBLEM

ACCIDENTLY A DVD WAS INSERTED INTO MY A5,FOR OVER 20 MINUTES THE PLAYER DISPLAYS "READING" THE PROBLEM IS THAT NOW IT WILL NOT STOP OR OPEN TO EJECT THE DISC. I TRIED TO UNPLUG IT, PLUG IT BACK IN, TURNING THE POWER BACK ON AND IMMEDIATELY PUSHING THE OPEN BUTTON BUT IT GOES DIRECTLY INTO "READING" STILL. BESIDES TAKING IT IN FOR SERVICE DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS??

Thats right - call the manufacturer ... There might be a button combo when pressed while powering up that will automatically eject what ever is inside before it tries to read the disc TOC.

I would think this would be a fairly common problem - God knows I've done it.
With the power off. Just pull the draw open and remove the disc. Use your fingernail and pull at the corner of the drawer.
Turn the unit off, and unplug it. Pick the unit up and rotate it so the drawer faces the floor. The A5 CD player does not have a stop mechanism for the drawer. It will slide out about 1/3 of the way. After that, you can simply pull it the rest of the way out.
Yes. Send it back for repair, then hit your cap lock key on your keyboard and you should be good.
