For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
Listened to Paul Simon's "Graceland" on Amazon Music in "Ultra HD". It's a great album and it sounded nice, but the varied instruments and even Paul's voice lacked the live presence that I recalled. Put the 1st pressing of the same album that I bought in 1986 on the turntable and was blown away by the difference. Had to listen to the entire album again, savoring every note.
