I want to ask about deutsche grammophon's new lp vinyl.

I want to buy deutsche grammophon’s new vinyl but suddenly wondered they make thier new vinyls as analog record or just digital record. I don’t want to buy vinyl if they made it as digital record. The vinyl I want to buy is [Destination Rachmaninov: Departure] and it released October 12, 2018. Sorry for the poor english😭 If you know anything about it please let me know..

+1, lewm.
It appears Deutsche Grammophon has a compression free recording. You can listen on Qobuz, if you like what you hear, you can then buy it on Vinyl.

This is a lovely sounding album on Qobuz. Actually, it doesn't sound like a stereotypical DG album; strings are warm and smooth, well defined piano, very balanced. The low noise-floor should add to a vinyl experience.

I need to check out the SQ of other recent DG recordings.

I’ve got quite a few OEM DG LPs that I bought new in the 70s. All analog, and many of them could make your ears bleed.
@lewm
You got that right. Mine were bought used and they had that dry, edgy, over mic'd sound. It's a shame they had contracts with many of the great conductors and orchestras.

Yes, you could like DG or lump DG back then.  No one else had the top orchestras.
