Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
Joe Williams And Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, The Jazz Orchestra – Presenting.. S/T (Solid State 1968)

Joe’s got a voice not unlike Sinatra but with more bass. Gem.

Interestingly, they use "solid state equipment throughout" (and Tele U-47 mics.) You can tell. Tight and fast and somewhat dry with some grain. No depth with a flat wall of sound.
