Does music give you longevity?

Does music promote longevity?
I believe it does.
Music imparts to you a kind of spirituality and serenity that enhances life
and assuages the daily turmoil and aggravation that life can can inflict you with.
Those without it are missing something.
We’re lucky to have it.

Good point edcyn, but for my part, I was thinking of the same person, living in the same way, either with or without music. I think that person living with music would likely live longer. In fairness, as a music lover I suppose there isn't much empirical validity to that.
@fiesta -- Yeah. But what happens when, as the needle winds its way to the dreaded inner grooves, the sibilants go from spit to splash?
If you listen while exercising then yes. If you listen while holding down a BarcaLounger, probably not. In both cases music enriches my life for sure.
Major !

On cruddy drive  to work, some sadus, manowar, hellwitch, tankard, puts a spell on me and relaxes me.
Long worse drive home in bumper to bumper. Years ago when we lived in south chiraq burbs, I would work in Zion, or Belvedere, far north almost to Wisconsin,.....the drive home many times took about 4 hours, or just under or over 4 hours, depending on the idiots driving slow, and slowing down to 15mph to stare at a tow truck, or a state trooper with his lights on,

Me, for the most part I stayed cool and kept it, with help from BATHORY, rotting christ, nevermore, fates warning, malevolent creation, overkill, and many more. This is MY music, it makes me catch my breath, take a deep one, exhale and relax for the drive.
So yes, music has hypnotically and magically relaxed me during many bad years, and good years, and some very bad years in my life. I look to it for help and to unwind.
