Szell conducts Bruckner Symphony No. 3. The Cleveland Orchestra. Columbia Masterworks 1966

Bruckner has never clicked with me yet, but I keep trying. Waiting for the light bulb to turn on….if ever.

@slaw I’ve got the room pretty well dialed now, will put the finishing touches on it tomorrow. I’m also quite happy with my current rig.

That said, I’ve only ever heard maggies at the local dealer, they’ve carried the line for a long time. Now that I have the space and resources I thought it would be interesting to hear some in my room. These are their demo pair, I was told if I like them and decide to order it would be about six month wait. The experiment just confirmed what I already suspected and that is it’s going to take a pretty big financial jump to improve on the system symmetry I have now.

Appreciate your concern and input!
