Node2i to Aurender N100SC…WoW!

Just a quick post for Bluesound Node2i owners who are pondering what to upgrading to…let me tell you, The Aurender (N100SC) is a **HUGE** step up from the Node. I was using a Node2i with all the tweaks (Cullen pc, cat8, fat dot feet and Cardas lightning 15 coax) the Aurender is all around jaw droppingly better (no golden ears here either).  I’m using a Virtual Dynamics PC and the same coax and CAT8 as before. No regrets whatsoever on the money spent. Amazing.

Always run an AQ jitterbug in the usb port of anything for improved sound.

Yep, I went IPad -> PC, Auralic Aries G2 -> Aurender N100 -> Aurender N10->  Aurender WE20se… all big steps up.

@tomic601 I’m assuming I’d have to be going from Aurender to DAC via USB for the jitterbug to do it’s thing? Unfortunately the DAC7 only does 16bit via USB so I go coaxial.

You can plug it in to unused usb or Daisy chain it in data stream, oddly they work both ways

Congrats on your new streamer.  Were you using the Node 2i with the same external DAC that you are using with the Aurender?
