About Triton 2+ and 3+

A few questions, any feedback would help me at this point

I'm looking for a pair of Goldenear Triton 2+ or 3+ (which would be better in a 20 x 20 room, is bigger better?)
My thinking is that buying used would be OK because audiophiles are more likely to take good care of them?
Assuming I went with used, where's the best place to look for them?

Audiogon, usaudiomart, Craigslist, eBay. 2+ would be better.

I sold a pair of the Triton Ones here for I believe $2200. The guy that bought them had Triton Twos+.  He said the Ones are far superior. Between the 2+ and 3+, go with the former.  The bass response will be much better.  With patience, you can find them here.  I usually see a pair or two for sale almost monthly here.

Stereo5...I have 1s that I was going to sell at one time. But the prices are so depressed, I'm just keeping them.

i hear you.  Shipping the speakers was going to be around $800 so I kept lowering the price to offset the shipping costs.  The person who bought them lived within a couple hours drive from me.  We loaded the speakers into his SUV and off he went.  I’m sorry I sold them because I purchased the new JBL L100 speakers and stands.  The bass didn’t go as low or deep as the Triton Ones so I had to get a sub.  By the time I was done, I spent 5K and ended up with a sound that still wasn’t as good as the Triton Ones.
