Thank you. I'm familiar with Buchardt. Sadly this floor lamp style is gorgeous but way too space-consuming in modern city condos.

Don't see anything off with the appearance (I have extremely impecable taste), but THEY ARE CHEAP STANDS - which is what you seemed to ask for in your OP.

This one linked by Yogi would seem to have "top" adjustable floor spikes, which is a huge plus if one wants to adjust them.

As far as painting black stands white it's a simple process which requires a bit of elbow grease and time (time to allow the primer and finishing coats to cure and "grease" involving proper prep, at various stages, of the surface).
