For me its the first or very early LP's of: Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South" Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer" and, Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
Spinning another copy of Armed Forces, this one sounds really good! Must be one of those dang hot stampers. I never thought of this as an "audiophile" record, even the MFSL release, but the sonics on this copy are really good.
@big_greg - I'm going to see Elvis Costello again on 10/16. It's a brand new concert venue here in Cincinnati and I was fortunate to get pre-sale tickets, 4th row center. Can't wait! I've seen him a few times and it's always been great.
@reubent I may have more Elvis records than I do from any other artist. Perhaps more so because he has put out so many records than him being my favorite artist (I wouldn't categorize him that way). I've seen him live a few times too, and it's always a little different. Last time I saw him was a few years ago and he was really rocking and it was a lot of fun.
