Questions for Joseph Audio Pulsar (I or 2) owners about stands, and spikes/springs.

I am curious about whether any users have tried open-architecture designs, and if so, whether you heard any advantages.

Assuming that most have used more traditional stands, I am interested in whether you have filled them and found that heavier is preferable, and particularly whether you prefer spikes or springs on the bases?

Thanks in advance for any feedback, as I am soon to receive my first pair!

Pulsar (v1) ... use Soundanchors stands made for the speakers specifically. Heavier is preferable, and I like spikes on the bases.

Use Sound Anchors that are made specifically for the Pulsars. Heavier is generally, if not always, better. That being said, I bought a pair of Panagea stands for my Pulsars and filled them with sand. About $200 vs $800, because I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep the Pulsars.  The Sound Anchors allow you to attach the speakers to the stands with screws.
