Do speaker wires have to be the same length for each speaker?

Speed of electricity is 186,000 miles a second. A couple of feet doesn't mean much. But. I keep mine the same length because that is the way I am....

The argument seems to be less about distance and time, but rather one of commonality of load per channel on the amplification.

They have to be within .00001 of an inch or it will just suck, it won't work. I'm pretty sure you'd go deaf in on ear.  My rabbit only one ear will come up. Dog hides under the bed.. Wife threatened to leave me.. :-)
