. What i am trying to express here is that Greg might wish to ck what his customer’s listening needs are. CM, chamber, light jazz, near field, small room, low SPL, dual woofers are not needed. + if his customer usinga SET amp..well why add ohm load with dual woofers?? Thats all I am trying to give Greg some suggestions. Hey Greg I know you said you had issues with the davidLouyis VX8,,did you note the price jump, double now @ $1k. Still best bang in speaker techology for the price. I have zero complaints about this speaker. nada I did not say its perfect,, but as close as i care for $1k, bargain...and yes it will be even more slow sell at 2x’s price,,, but hey his market is china, asia, not the USA.

davvid is fishing here, but the fish ain’t bitin. The fish love the low sens IN-EFFICIENT style speakers, , speakers that are a mis match for a SET,...In spite of what my tech says. ..and as you guys know lately, my new mantra is SETs are the bomb (street slang for The Best)

You have absoluetly no clue why I post here, do you??? My posts area reference point for newbies who may have some interest in Full Midrange Speaker designs over the next decades. My posts may offer some tips on what these speakers are all about. You guys decided to push the new high tech FR under the bus. I am rescuing this magnificient design from complete total absolute dismiss, ignore, cancel culture. Thats all i am trying to do. Google Davidlouis,, see what you come up with, You will see 100+ posts, scored by mozartfan. Just me on google, and no one else. ..here lets see what happens be right back...... Lets see your contributions to open up new ideas in this best ever hobby. The DIY forum just gave me the boot, as i failed to get The FR Association Enthusiasts approval, akak The Club. They told me, *how dare you disregard our condemnation of dual Full Midrange design,,after we told you it will not work , its a complete failure...* They got mad as hornets and gave me the boot, I am banned. Permanent. I did not learn even 1 thing off that FR board. Nada. I figured my design out all by myself. and IMHO, I have the worlds finest sounding speaker,,with possibilities of adding new tweaks = new drivers midwoofer and tweeter. Both again from DavidLouis. If both turn out success, my speaker will be 100% Davidlouis all clones of other manufacturers.

After glancing through this thread, I wouldn't touch anything by David Louis with the proverbial 10-foot pole.  😁

Just got word from David, his VX8 is OOS, wood cone not avaliable for production,, maybe 1+ months , back in at the $500 price. So that is indeed great if not fantastic news. 

AS soon as the 2A3 amp comes, with stock tubes,,I will upload a  few more videos, stay tuned...
