Bully pulpits

It’s pathetic that so many alleged audiophiles use a hobbyist site like Audiogon as a bully pulpit to express political or conspiracy opinions. Thank you for spoiling so much of what an enjoyable hobby forum used to be.

Hello,

I understand what the OP is saying, but it’s very hypocritical the way this thread started off. The way this thread starts off is exactly what you are accusing people of in this forum. I am not a fan of how people are becoming divided due to what is happening in the world. I can guarantee most people do not know what is happening in other peoples lives. We are on the brink of something far more serious than what someone said to another or how someone misunderstood another. There are a lot of bad things happening in the world to really good people. In the end. It’s better to come from a point of weakness than a point of strength. Nobody ever thinks Superman needs help. When it comes to helping someone out in need, there are millions of people ready to be a hero. All you need to do is ask. That means try not tell people what to do. They typically stop listening.
How about we discuss if anyone has heard of some really cool products coming out in the near future. I know there are some serious people who have the 411 on some cool stuff. Should I be saving up my money?

On that note, I've saved up my hard earned retirement money to get the new Technics SU-G700M2 when it come out (hopefully) this month. Some of the tech from the SU-R1000 trickled down to it and I can't wait to hear it.

All the best,
Nonoise
