Tekton use to make just garbage. Now they make expensive garbage. Oh, IMHO.

 "There is no Tekton shill, it doesn't exist.  There are very excited owners that you should not take very seriously.  You should listen on your own and on your own only."......It does exist imo..your take is wrong and that's why the Tekton post get constantly taken down...MC admitted on this site( before it was all deleted) he moved product and generated profit  on this free forum.. my guess, he is on a very short leash with the powers to be hence his abrupt absence in posting  ...I also think that compensation can come in many ways ie Moabs signed by the owner of the company  in gratitude for keeping the brand in post after post after post...that's my take on it

@millercarbon,

Yes. And it does. On Planet Utopia. The Nowhere land where everyone flies to work on a unicorn and Coca-cola comes out of every faucet. $18k should buy me a beautiful speaker, beautiful car, and three beautiful women. A house. And beautiful wife to clean it. Should is my favorite word in the English language. So infinitely useful.

Sounds like Atlanta, GA in the late 70's early 80's. Right around Georgia Tech and the Coca Cola building...☺

Yes, I own them and very happy with them. I live in the southern part of Westchester County in NYS. They are terrific up and down the frequency range. Smooth, full, plenty of detail, impact and slam. Smooth and detailed, very well balanced in that regard. The tweeters are Satori Beryllium. I believe they retail for $406 each. That’s almost $13k at retail given there are 32 them. Taking the parts cost into account, the labor in wiring 20 drivers, constructing and painting and shipping such large and heavy boxes, I don’t see the reason to complain about the price (shipping is included).  On a percentage basis, the profit margin could be lower than their other models. I do not expect to be buying another pair of speakers. I am set.
