What is the best pre-amp for ARC Ref 75SE amp?

Thanks Al I am not an owner nor was I ever a dealer for Audio Research and did't realize they did not offer an RCA input on their amplifiers and I sure don't like adaptors being used on interconnects.

@almarg  Thanks very much! I will givemy Ref 75SE a try with Jensen isolation connecting my Rega Cursa 3 pre.

 

PS Audio BHK pre is an amazing match to the REF75SE. I tested the REF5SE as well but the BHK outperformed it!

Just watch Jay's audio lab tp compare Luxman c900u vs audio research Ref 6se on youtube,and I connect it to my music system.

Ref 6se more transparent, more high tweet.but a little exaggerated

but totally speaking,Luxman win it by far ,as the sound has more content ,way more meat and concordance.

 

A friend of mine is running a Prima Luna EVO 400 on his Ref 75SE and I have to say its a great combo. A bit more of the traditional tube sound but it balances quite nicely with the Ref 75.
