How do I erase an itune from my Nano if it isn't on my computer. I erased the itune from my library, but it is still on my Nano? what did I do wrong?

iTunes software sucks. It is one of the most user unfriendly POS programs out there. I think I mastered Adobe Photoshop quicker than the iTunes.
I've been designing GUIs for computers for more than 20 years and would like to know what it is about iTunes that upsets you so.

As for Photoshop, I have to agree with Gunbei. This is a hugely powerful program with many complex functions that take a while to find, let alone master. I haven't yet made it to CS2 because someone here registered the licenced copy we own and I can't run it on my box. Not that I need the features it has - Photoshop is intricate enough.

My hat is off to you.

Regards,
thanks Gunbei! I am glad you took my comments seriously and replied. I am honored!
That's right buddy, you can count on me for earth-shattering seriousness! ;•)
iTunes (Windows) is very easy to set up and use for it's most basic functions, on a single ipod and single computer. I have found it very hard to figure out how to do non-standard things, such as move a database from built-in drive to external drive, and have it be recognized, OR, to manage multiple iPods with drastically differing capacity.

Some people have experience iTunes as easy to use, I think because they have stuck to the most basic functions.

I would not describe it as overall very badly designed; just designed with an extremely heavy bias to the most basic functionality. It does offer the power user more headaches than should be required.
