Croft phono integrated vs Croft Regulated Pre-Amp

Is anyone able to shed some light as to the sound difference.

In looking at all the work building regulated versions of their amp/preamp I am going to assume Glenn did not do that to waist money.

Budget for OFC Power cords and wrap the glass part of the fuses in PTFE tape (not touching the caps). Think about NOS Telefunkens too. Good luck!
