My Dark Horse is a Jacksonville pressing as well. I think it sounds pretty good, but in terms of surface noise, well, I bought mine new when it was released, and played the hell out of it. So, many of my albums from that time have ‘user abuse’ surface noise vs pressing noise. Thus, can’t say I can blame the pressing as much as not handling my vinyl back then with the care I do today. Damn teenagers! 😁

Foreigner - S/T debut….

I know what you mean, but I think it's a really well recorded album with some expertly crafted songs and musicianship.  Besides the hits, Starrider, Headknocker, and The Damage is Done are all great songs.
