As much as I love reading about such things, people sharing their experiences, I am afraid you are right, and this is the way to go. For some reason, like flies to poop, they become magnet for deranged individuals

Some parents have need to micromanage children, they need to protect us from a horrible, dangerous world full of shysters and con men. They don't like their children to experience things first hand.

I've found Shungite effective in shielding rfi, use it on a number of components in my streaming chain.

There are some other great Audiophile forums. I, like many other long time posters here, will be opting out of Agon very soon as this is no longer a good place to learn from others and their experiences. I want to share my experiences, but this is also no longer an enjoyable experience. Too many trouble makers not interested in sharing actual experiences, but just want to be negative. WBF is a great place to hear from audiophiles who actually care and are open minded. I look forward to growing and enjoying the conversations there. I’m afraid this forum is too far gone for hope now. Sad really, but I enjoy this hobby too much to just go at it solo and look forward to conversing in an enjoyable forum.

This forum has gone from enjoyable to stressful.  I stay off of social media for this very reason.  Seems the “stress” has now overtaken my once enjoyable hobby outlet. 

There is a very strong current of culture of complaint going today, quite opposed to freedom of expression and experiential learning.
