@Snilf...a total +1. The room is woefully undersized, the serviceability of the cabinet is a nightmare and it reeks of gearhead sensibilities. The only surprise is the MBL amps instead of Macs.

Yes, high end audio component storage, beautifully decorated. I just can;t imagine how great it could sound in an appropriate listening space.

At first I wondered also about the room, then I read the article and realize that this gentleman is no novice. By the way, his equipment is way more expensive than half a million. He most likely spend more time in front of his gears than behind them so unlike most of us he doesn’t have to be swapping cables every week. Rooms can be very deceiving. The acoustic doesn’t really care how nice the room looks. Do a quick search for Michael Framer’s listening room and also Dr. Floyd Toole’s. You will be surprised. I am sure a lot of experts have visited his room and helped with his installation. I hope he is enjoying it.

Agreed, the space presented is woefully small, considering what form of MBLs' he owns.  Anytime I've seen a net advert pic of them, they're displayed in a space that some would call a home in sq. footage....

Some of those old mansions have large rooms that would be adequate; perhaps this isn't one, or the spouse put foot down in some threatening fashion and Demanded a 'living room' with enough area to be called one... ;)

MBL vs. Mac monos?  In theory, the MBL ones are designed for the drivers, whereas the Macs' are not.  Best retort I can think of....🤷‍♂️

Maybe the 6 headsets are for a 'silent disco' jones to be coddled.....*L*  Or bluetoothing about the manse....gotta leave the MBLs' sometimes....
