16 OHM Vintage JBL speakers model C40

I would like to know if my McCormack solid state Amplifier ... 8 OHM's is  okay to use with 16 OHM speakers

The Horn driver is # 175...is 16 OHM and Crossover the same as well.

Yep, amplifiers are rated for the minimum nominal impedance they want to see.

Anything equal to or greater than 8 Ohms is fine.

Your McCormack solid state Amplifier is okay to use with 16 OHM speakers but it only can output approximately half the 8 ohm rated power.

I'm guessing it's a micro power drive? If so it's 50 watts into 8 ohms so like imhififan said, 25 into 16 ohms. With those very efficient JBL's you should get decent volume depending on your room size, should sound very good.
