16 OHM Vintage JBL speakers model C40

I would like to know if my McCormack solid state Amplifier ... 8 OHM's is okay to use with 16 OHM speakers

The Horn driver is # 175...is 16 OHM and Crossover the same as well.

If so it's 50 watts into 8 ohms so like imhififan said, 25 into 16 ohms. With those very efficient JBL's you should get decent volume depending on your room size, should sound very good.
