Best speaker on used market around 10,000.00

You know... I see good threads initiated all the time that receive no response. But here’s someone seeking advise that there are so many solutions for that it’s truly nonsensical. How many $20,000 speakers ($10k used = $20k) can meet the subjective criteria: visceral punch & won’t rip your head off?

Answer: All of them!

Heh, well, almost. There are stats and other panels that won't deliver the "visceral punch," so at least we know what not to suggest.

Revel Salon 2s are a good deal new for 20,000 and they are used on here all the time for $11,000ish. They are pretty transparent and you could tune the front end to make their sound fit your tastes.

There is no definitive "best" of anything. There are way too many variables involved. The "best" you can hope for is to find something that works well in your system. You can then say it's the "best" for you until you find something you think is better !!!!
