Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Brian my stacked Quads were high passed w caps installed in the two CJ MV-45a amps driving them…it definitely increased clarity. The sub filters were more complex. Take a look at what all goes into a Vandy high pass filter, great parts are just part of the equation IMO.

Brother in law has the small REL. Good to great w His Dynaudio mini monitors.

Have fun ;-)

1st UK Rough Trade pressing of For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder? by the Pop Group.
As is so often the case with this period of late-70s, early-80s UK Rough Trade releases, the sound quality is awesome, and my goodness, what a strikingly original, great, great album this is!!

Eagles - Hotel California

1976/2017 Elektra/Asylum Reissue

I always thought that the original Eagles pressings were very well done with great SQ. This reissue takes it up a notch. Well balanced with great dynamics but not overdone.

Eagles - On The Border

1974 Asylum Records - Early pressing.

As I said earlier. Very well done. Great SQ.

Steely Dan - Two Against Nature ( RSD 2021 release )…. in a word superb !
