Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Good stuff, Jim. Nice to see Brian over there too. Interesting how the high pass cleaned things up. Now, you have me thinking if my ESL need a pair of small RELs.

Dire Straits- Making Movies ( MoFi ) inspired by @tgilb , thanks !

Joel - It will all be worth the wait ;-)

Brian my stacked Quads were high passed w caps installed in the two CJ MV-45a amps driving them…it definitely increased clarity. The sub filters were more complex. Take a look at what all goes into a Vandy high pass filter, great parts are just part of the equation IMO.

Brother in law has the small REL. Good to great w His Dynaudio mini monitors.

Have fun ;-)

Jim

1st UK Rough Trade pressing of For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder? by the Pop Group.
As is so often the case with this period of late-70s, early-80s UK Rough Trade releases, the sound quality is awesome, and my goodness, what a strikingly original, great, great album this is!!
