BLUESOUND NODE ISSUE

I have to put this question out there. I find it hard that someone else has had this mini-jack/ analog/digital input issue… but this is the seemingly Achilles heel of the Node? I’ve had to replace it twice now(with warranty)… Both the times, either the IOS app didn’t acknowledge that my CD player was engaged with Toslink plug in, or the App recognition is there … and yet BOTH analog and digital produced NO SOUND.

Have any of y’all experienced this … or is it just me?

thank you

Hi

I've had the N130 for about 10 months with my CDT plugged in to analogue/digital input with no issues. If I play a CD, the Node auto-plays from the CDT and overrides the streaming signal. No issues at all.

It seems odd this has happened to you multiple times; my initial thoughts reading yor issue is it maybe a problem with your source component or interconnect used, but I'm sure you would have already thought of this.

Did you receive confirmation there was a definite fault when you returned your previous Node's?

Prior to the first swap out, I know I had stressed out the Toslink, replaced the cable and thought I had solved it… but it happened again, returned it. The replacement worked just fine on a Denon CD Player…just  got a Sony DVP-S9000ES. Won’t play sound from either the analog plug in, nor the Toslink, mini plugs IN, to the Node. As advised at Crutchfield, I tried the Denon back again, no sound.
So, I’ll get my third one on Wednesday… I expect it will work.

I think maybe it’s the POWERING UP that may be confusing it? I turn off ALL COMPONENTS each night with a single switch… but that’s never been an issue before including: APPLE TV (arc), SVS Micro 3000 (sub out), through the Marantz 7025 amp.
