Acora speakers at Axpona

The Acora speakers were amazing! I’m sure they surprised everyone. 

Still looking for actual people who use these speakers and in what size rooms and with what equipment. Anyone?

I've had the SRC-2s in my medium size room, 13x20, and they will expose problems in your supporting gear, they are not bright just accurate. They will surprise you with low end extension and impact. The entire Acora lineup is so good they can be matched with the best supporting electronics revealing their best attributes.

RSF507, I own the SRC-1’s supported by Audio Research 6SE pre amp and 160S amplifier. My room is 15’ wide by 22’ deep. My equipment is on the narrow side of the room and the speakers are about 1/3 into the room. I’ve owned many different speakers (3 different types of Maggies, Sonus Faber, Klipsch, Tekton, Ohm) and have concluded these are my forever speakers. Prior to purchasing, I did A/B testing with Wilson Audio Sasha DAW’s and felt the Acora’s blew the Wilson’s away.  Incredible detail without being harsh. I’m astonished how low the bass goes with such a small driver and of course near zero cabinet resonance (granite). Acora’s are not for everyone since they are a very accurate speaker and will identify the flaws in poor recordings. But who of us gets into this crazy hobby to listen to poorly recorded music?  Cheers!

Were you able to listen to  Rockports before you decided on the Acoras? The Avior ii is in the same price range. I would describe the Avior ii similar to your description of the Acoras. Amazing detail zero harshness. No listening fatigue.
