Accuphase integrateds…are pre outs active full time to use for sub?
From what I’ve read,the pre out has to be activated using the switch and it then shuts off the amp.
just figuring out how to hook a sub to one if I go Accuphase
@russ69 would that cut the gain down since the pre signal is split in two?
You'll have more than enough volts to drive anything you want.
The pre-out / main-in switch in either position, the pre-out is active full time, you can connect it to a sub in the conventional way.
