Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

I've been trying to get their mono remasters from the original tapes by the great mastering engineers. Seems like the best and most economical way to get the mono stuff.

Joyce Collins Quartet Featuring Jack Sheldon, Chuck Domanico And Jim Plank – Moment To Moment (Discovery 1981)

Worth checking out. Excellent music and recording.

Allan Taylor – Sometimes (United Artists 1971)

System sounds fast, incisive, clean and blacker tonight.

Kevin Gray mastered some of the early Byrds mono reissues for Sundazed and they are excellent. The copies I have were also pressed at QRP. Really good.

Jethro Tull - A Passion Play

1973 Chrysalis

Early pressing with really good SQ.

I enjoyed it so much I had to listen to it twice.
