A perfect song? What are your choices?

I have two.  You should all recognize them by the opening lines:

“Hello darkness my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again”

and

“there must be some kind of way out of here, said the joker to the thief”

I have numerous versions by the songwriters and even more cover versions of each.  Love them all.
