Why do hipsters prefer analog?

Hipsters started with vinyl records, then cassettes, then 8-tracks, then R2R.  Where will they stop?

I assume by hipsters he is referring to current younger generation, not real "hippies" from the 60s.

They will stop when they're too old to feel like getting up, to turn the record over.
